FOMO ("the extension") warns you when a major sports event is broadcast during your flight/travel window so you don't miss it. This policy explains exactly what data the extension handles and why.
When you view a flight search on a supported booking site (Google Flights, Skyscanner, Kiwi, Kayak), the extension reads the departure and return dates shown on that page. It sends that date range (and the list of sport categories it checks) to the FOMO backend to look up major sports events that fall on your travel days, then shows the results in an on-page banner.
That is the entirety of the data the extension reads or transmits.
The trip date range is sent to the FOMO backend
(https://fomo-backend.agentmajdi.workers.dev) solely to return the list
of overlapping sports events, which is displayed to you and is not associated with
any identity. The backend runs on Cloudflare Workers; as with any web request,
Cloudflare may process standard connection metadata (such as IP address) to deliver
the response. We do not use this to identify or profile you.
The most recently detected trip is cached in chrome.storage.session
so the popup can display it. Session storage is cleared when your browser session
ends. Nothing is stored permanently and nothing is synced to any account.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. The data is used only to provide the extension's single function described above.
